Monpure :
Monpura Is an Island under Bhola district. This river Islnd is nice places for nature lover. The whole area is flat and surrouding by mighty Meghna river.
How to go : There are many ways to go Nijhum Dwip. Best way is to take Lonch (Engine Boat) from Dhaka Sadarghat. Every day a Lonch (Name Tipu/Panama Ph : 01924004608 and 01711-348813) goes to Hatia. On the way it stops at Monpura at 6 a.m Get off Monpura and explore.
Where to stay : There are some cheap hotels like Hotel Dwip, Press Club Guest House. Both the hotels located near Upozilla Complex and tariff is Taka 100-150/Night
Nijhum Dwip (Silent Island) :
Nijhum Dwip (Silent Island) is one of the nicest river islands in Bangladesh. This Island is located in Hatia under Noakhali district. There were no people in this Island before 1070 but later it became a recognized eco-tourist spot because of the perennial mangrove forests and wild life including animals such as spotted deer, wild boar and rhesus macaque. The island is also home to nearly 100 species of migratory birds, around a dozen of which are considered to be critically endangered.
How to go : There are many ways to go Nijhum Dwip. Best way is to take Lonch (Engine Boat) from Dhaka Sadarghat. Every day a Lonch (Name Tipu/Panama Ph : 01924004608 and 01711-348813) goes to TOMORUDDI of Hatia from Dhaka Sadargha (Starts at 5.30 p.m). It reaches Tomoruddi at 9 am next morning. Then take Taxi/Motorcycle (Taka 50-500) to BONDORTILA. Then you will find Trowler (Local Engine boat) Nijhum Dwip.
Where to stay : Nijhum Resort is bet in this Island. (Taka 1000 for Double room). It is possible to bok this resort from Dhaka (Abokash Parjatan Ph : 835 8485), 934 2351 )
There are also some cheap guest houses with range Taka 200-500
